What happens when we achieve workflow parity?
Many users will start their migration using S&P Cap IQ Pro as a supplemental platform, then gradually shift their CIQ usage over to S&P Cap IQ Pro as it continues to replicate workflows.
However, we know there are users who will not have need for S&P Cap IQ Pro until we have achieved workflow parity. Those users will begin their migration journey with Workflow Parity, during which time they will begin migration by learning to replicate workflows in S&P Cap IQ Pro on their own terms while maintaining access to CIQ.
Workflow Parity will focus more on training and migration and less on supplementation and feedback.
Is it true that users will lose access to S&P Capital IQ?
The CIQ platform will be available to users for the foreseeable future. We have not set a sunset date, and our migration plan has always maintained a commitment to doing things “right, not fast.”
This means that users can expect a lengthy dual access period, in which time they will be allowed to replicate their workflows and learn S&P Cap IQ Pro on their own terms and timetable.
