Network View
Panjiva's 'Network View' allows you to visualize the relationships between suppliers and buyers at a glance.
Using the three-tiered graphic, you can quickly identify companies that share a common trading partner. Buyers are represented in blue and suppliers are represented in yellow. The number of shipments that have passed between the two entities is graphically represented by the thickness of the line and the size of the circles.
To view the graphic, simply navigate to a Company Profile and click on the Trading Partners tab.
The buyer or supplier you are viewing will be displayed on the far left. In this example, Pro Dragon Inc. is shown. Pro Dragon's top buyers are listed in descending order in the second (or middle) column. Red Wing Shoe Co. is listed as Pro Dragon's top buyer and is displayed first in the middle column. When you hover over the company name, you can see some details about that company, as well as a link to that company's profile.
If you'd like to manipulate the network to show information most relevant to you, use the filters located at the top of the screen. They apply to both the 'Network View' and the 'List View'. You can filter the visual to show you companies that match your product, country, or time specifications. You can also condense the 'Network View' to show you only the top five, ten or twenty relationships. You can also download the image to easily include in presentations or work done outside of the platform.
The Bidirectional Network View is also available under the bidirectional setting of company profiles. This is our most popular visualization, so be sure to check this one out! Visit a company profile, switch to "Bidirectional Activity" in the top right corner, and click on the "Trading Partners" tab.

Corporate Hierarchy
The Corporate Hierarchy dataset gives details into the ownership structure of companies involved in international trade and helps to identify parent, child, subsidiary, and sister companies. This information allows for a better understanding of overall and divisional activities within large, global organizations.
You can find Panjiva's Corporate Hierarchy visualization in the Corporate Structure tab located in a Company Profile. Please note that this feature will only be available for companies that have been identified as belonging to a corporate hierarchy.
The corporate structure visualization opens to the focus company, which is displayed as an orange-circles start in the tree structure. You can drag the visualization to focus on a particular area, or zoom in and out using the zoom controls to the upper right.
Companies located to the left of the focus company are higher in the corporate hierarchy, and companies located to the right are lower.
Companies that have additional subsidiaries are displayed as solid blue circles. To see additional subsidiaries, click the circle and the visualization will expand. To navigate the company profile of a company within the hierarchy, click the circle next to that company's name and then click to open the company profile link.
Companies for which Panjiva has collected shipment data are highlighted in blue. To only view companies that have shipment data, adjust the toggle above the visualization.
You can also navigate the Corporate Hierarchy using the list view on the left-hand side. Companies that have additional subsidiaries are indicated by the presence of a gray triangle to the right of the company name. To expand the list to see additional subsidiaries, click the company's name. You can search for a particular company by typing their name into the search box above the list.
To view the complete corporate hierarchy, click on Show All Subsidiaries.
