Please join us on 4 July for a forum where S&P Global Market Intelligence and S&P Global Ratings speakers will provide the outlook for trends and risks in Japan, Asia-Pacific and globally. Simultaneous interpretation is available.

In his keynote speech, Paul Gruenwald, Global Chief Economist at S&P Global Ratings, will discuss the evolution of China’s trade over the last decade, including recent relations with the U.S., plus China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

Kiyoko Ohora, Managing Director at S&P Global Ratings Japan, will then look at the potential impact of risks on credit ratings, and Michelle Cheong, Director of Credit Solutions at S&P Global Market Intelligence, will discuss U.S. trade tariffs and how they could affect Asian exporters.

This will be followed by three informative break-out sessions:

  • Localized credit indicators and their applications in China.
  • Using natural-language processing to gain alpha insights from corporate earnings calls.
  • Asia-Pacific deal trends and rising geopolitical forces.
