  • Users can use numeric relative constants in their Excel models. Relative constants are numerical values assigned to the current period and users can add or subtract from these constants to retrieve future or historical information.
  • Users can retrieve market data of a previous day close price on non-trading days, such as weekends and holidays in S&P Capital IQ Pro plug-in formulas.

We added a time series view of aggregated Dry Powder & Assets Under Management (AUM) trends to provide users with insights on deployed and undeployed capital within Private Equity over time. We expanded the coverage of portfolio relationships and added new fund and firm criteria to Screener and the S&P Capital IQ Pro Plug-in for users with Preqin Premium access.   • Users can incorporate lithium mine economics data into custom Excel models and reports with its addition into the M&M Properties data set in Screener and the Excel Plug-in.
  • This data set models lithium production and costs at an asset-level, such as cash costs, all-in sustaining costs, and net present value (NPV), dating back to 1991 and forecasts out to 2040.
  • New fields are found under the Field Selector for the M&M Properties data set under the Mine Econ – Modeled Data section, where we have sub-categories for Ore Production, Saleable Production, Ore Product Costs and Product Costs.

Commodity Estimates Click-through

  • Users can now view the underlying analyst/broker estimates and corresponding investment research for commodity estimates data, including precious metals, base metals, iron ore and aluminum.
  • Users can access this information on the Commodities Estimates page, found under the Commodities or Markets and Deals tab in the CIQ Pro platforms’s top navigation menu. After navigating to the desired commodity, click any estimate on the page and within the pop-up, click the consensus value to view the break-out of analyst information supporting the selected commodity estimate.
  • Keep in mind that this enhancement requires research entitlements, and so please reach out to your Relationship Managers for details.

Transcript Sentiment Scores in the Document Viewer

Workflow improvements:
  • Users can view Net Positivity, Language Complexity, and Numeric Transparency metrics for earnings call transcripts, and they can compare the scores against previous quarters' scores and average.
  • The Sentiment Scores option is available when viewing earning call transcripts in the Document Viewer and its launched from the top-right hand action menu.
  • Users can search for target companies in the Document Viewer search, which is accessed in the Apps or Tools menu of CIQ Pro platform’s top navigation bar. Also, for an individual company profile, transcripts are found on the Transcripts & Investor Presentations page under New, Events and Filings in the left hand menu.
