The Office Hours: Introduction to Textual Data Analysis via Transcripts will explore the use cases and research derived insights found within textual data of corporate earnings calls. As Natural Language Processing (NLP) evolves, the ability to systematically analyze large volumes of text can influence and even change predictions for corporate and executive performance. We will discuss two common themes of earnings call analysis, a) Sentiment scores and b) behavioral metrics, before discussing other possible avenues of analysis.
