Since its inception, the Market Intelligence platform was built to expand with new data sets and intuitive workflows: first by integrating the breadth of content from S&P Capital IQ with the depth of industry data from SNL; then by layering in new and relevant content and functionality, such as ESG, private company data, and real-time dashboards.
Though the Market Intelligence platform name has served us well, the time is right to position our desktop solutions under our signature product brand – S&P Capital IQ.
With its expanded data, news, and insights plus new, intuitive workflow tools, the Market Intelligence platform will be named S&P Capital IQ Pro.
The platform name change will happen automatically this summer. Following the product release, you’ll notice a new logo in the top left corner of your screen.
The name change will not impact any of the content, features, and functionality you use within the platform. If your organization requires you to whitelist URLs, please use www.capitaliq.spglobal.com.
If you currently use both Market Intelligence and S&P Capital IQ, the name change will not impact your ability to access the S&P Capital IQ platform. You will retain access to both versions – S&P Capital IQ Pro and S&P Capital IQ.
