Faster Access to Investment Research on S&P Capital IQ: Two Short Cuts

S&P Capital IQ’s desktop offers two short cuts that allow one-click access to investment research as well as other critical and essential inputs used in your idea generation and financial analysis activities.

Below are the details on each of these productivity enhancing short cuts -- both of which are easy to use and speed your access to your most valued investment research providers and their individual research reports.

New Research Top Tab
Finding investment research on S&P Capital IQ has never been easier - clients with access to S&P Capital IQ Investment Research now have one-click access to the research page with the addition of a Research tab on the top navigation bar of S&P Capital IQ.




Simply click the Research tab to open the Investment Research page, where you can quickly search for the most relevant reports. Our precision search options include the ability to find reports by company, industry, keyword, report type or analyst. Save your search to then receive email alerts for new research which you can access via our mobile apps.

Add Research to Company Tearsheets
Another effective short cut is to add research headlines within the S&P Capital IQ Tearsheet, giving you everything you need on a company in one concise view.

From the Tearsheet view, click the Customize Tearsheet icon at the top (as shown in the picture above). Next to the Public & Private Template, click on Create/Edit template. On the Choose Datapoints page, scroll down within the Available Items section to locate the choice for “Last 10 Investment Research Documents” and move it to the right side, into the Selected Items section.



Using the up and down buttons, choose where you want the investment research headlines to appear within the Tearsheet. Click on the Save button twice to finalize this upgrade.
