Public & Private Company Profiles

To access a Corporate Profile, simply type the name of the company in the search bar. 

For public companies, the Corporate Profile shows a summary of market and corporate data, financial highlights, stock charts, and recent activity and news on the company. On the left-hand side you can open additional information such as People Summary, Corporate Structure, and more. 

For private companies, you will see a concise representation of a private company's business fundamentals, allowing you to quickly learn about a company and gain insight into possible investment decisions.The options in the top right of the profile allow you to open up the CIQ Company Profile, create an alert about this company, add it to 'My Lists, export the profile, build a report, and more. 

With Crunchbase data on the S&P Capital IQ Pro, you can deepen your private company research and analysis with crowd-sourced intelligence on 500K+ private companies globally. In addition to general company information, you can review business categories, social media handles, and additional funding information.

Industry Profiles

The S&P Capital IQ Pro give you more than basic financials and broker reports with sector-specific data, ratios, and metrics. Tap into asset-level data like bank branch performance or power plant generation, understand how companies are complying with their regulatory bodies, visualize footprints with maps, and much more.

While industry data is embedded throughout the platform and the Excel Add-in, you can see an aggregate view of activities and performance in Industry Profiles, accessible from the Industries tab in your top navigation. 

In industry profiles you can find the latest news and research for an industry, country risk, U.S. demographic and unemployment data, as well as a number of sector-specific information such as mortgage analytics, deposit market share, property transactions, commodity imports/exports, and more.
