The Markets tab is your one-stop shop in learning about a particular industry and geography. It includes Key Events, Transactions, News and Key Statistics to help you get the pulse of the market and see how you can benchmark the trend to your subject company. Below are just some examples as to how you can leverage this tool:
A: I want to know which industries are performing in terms of M&A Deals
Just click on the Markets tab and you will see the Transactions that happened within the last 6 months, per industry.
B. I am interested to see what’s happening within the Industrials sector in Australia.
Hover over the Markets tab and select Industries > Click on Refine Industry and tick on Financials. > Click on Refine Geography and place a checkmark beside Australia. (This can also be on a per-region basis such as Asia/Pacific)
Once you have the industry and geography filtered, the left hand links would be your navigation.
Some of the popular options within the Industry page are the ones in red.
a. Constituents – it gives you the list of public and private companies that are within the filter you have chosen. It also includes key information for performance analysis such as Current Price, Market Cap, Ratings, Revenue and Primary Industry.
