Overview
The Peer Analytics application allows you to generate peer groups by using any of the thousands of data points collected for both S&P Global Market Intelligence-covered public companies and private banks, thrifts, credit unions and insurance companies. In addition, when you create a peer group, you can rank those peers by measuring how similar each peer is to the base company, based upon a group of selected financial & geographic metrics. The combination of enhanced screening and peer ranking allows you to create a meaningful and accurate group of peers.
To access the Peer Analytics tool, navigate to the Apps drop down menu and select the Screener option. Next, under the Company Data section, select the Companies link. On this page you will see the option to turn on Comparables/Peer Analytics, as seen in the below image.
